Wonderfurly was founded on the basis of providing pet parents with the ultimate compassionate care for their pets and convivence for them. Meet the faces and paws behind Wonderfurly.

Straight out of high school I went into the retail side and then to the training and boarding. I loved taking care of the dogs that no one wanted to deal with. I knew that their owners loved him and I would never want my babies treated poorly. I was always intrigued with the grooming aspect that went on every place that I worked. From there I went to the veterinary field and completed my Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technician at the Vet Tech Institute in Houston Texas. I learned so much through my schooling and working in the veterinary field. The part I loved the most was caring for the critical patients. I wanted to make sure that whether they we’re able to pull through or not that I was always on their side and loved them until the very end.

As I got older I realized how much I would rather raise my children out of the rush of the larger cities and go back to the area that built me. Moving back to Hallettsville as afforded me the chance to slow down a bit and really find that grooming was actually my calling. The aspects that I loved, the one on one time with the pets that needed me, was available in grooming. I get to take my client’s babies, and make them as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside or take the baby who is scared and help to show them that everything is ok and earn their trust.

There is no truer form of love than the trust of a frightened animal.

I strive to provide a low stress spa day with all of my babies and their comfort is my number one priority.
